Liminality evokes several concepts: uncertainty, openness, potential, transition, between-ness, and neutrality. The liminal surrounds us, existing at the periphery of every moment, the behind-the-scenes of our reality. It makes no judgments, asserts nothing, and constitutes the everyday mundane poetry of life—it simply is. In this state, boundaries dissolve, and overlooked moments come into focus. Meanwhile is a series of photographic observations that explore the concept of becoming within these liminal spaces. Created in immediate, everyday environments, the images capture moments in constant flux, poetically documenting what it means to navigate uncertainty and engage with one’s place in a deep, introspective way. Viewed through the lens of subjectivity, glimpses of domestic spaces are juxtaposed with natural forms, guiding the viewer on an escapist journey.
